Final phase of PET for ROs, AROs held at B'pora

BANDIPORA, JANUARY 23: The third and final phase of Panchayat Election Training (PET) for Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistance Returning Officers (AROs) of the district concluded here today.

The Deputy District Panchayat Election Officer (DDPEO) Mohammed Rafiq Lone chaired the concluding session.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDPEO thanked the Master Trainers and the participants for successful conclusion of the training programme. He said that during the three phase training programme, 280 ROs and AROs of the district have been imparted election related training including mock poll and handling of ballot boxes.

On the occasion, it was informed that the district has a total 1126 panch constituencies and 150 Panchayat halqas.
