New Delhi, Jan 24: The national capital woke up to a foggy morning on Wednesday while 43 trains were delayed and 20 cancelled due to low visibility in the Delhi and NCR region.
Minimum temperature was recorded at 7.4 degrees C, witnessing a drop compared to yesterday's 9.4 degrees C due to the light rains in the city, while the relative humidity at 0830 hrs was pegged at 97 per cent , the weatherman said.
The air quality was 'poor', with an index value of 259 slightly better than yesterday's 'very poor'.
Sky is likely to be partly cloudy and the day will be misty with maximum temperature to hover around 20 degrees C, as per the Met official.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 17 degrees C, four points lesser than normal for the season. UNI
