JAMMU, JANUARY 23: J&K BJP Freedom Fighters & Martyr’s Cell led by its State Convenor Bharat Bhushan Sharma paid floral tributes on the portrait of great patriot Neta ji Subhash Chander Bose on his 121st birthday in presence of BJP State Vice-President Karan Singh, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria and other senior leaders at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ashok Kaul, while paying floral tributes to the great son of Nation, threw light on his contributions in the National Struggle for the Independence and his ideology. He also stressed on the then existent socio-political scenario in the Nation and all the struggles he had to face to put forth his view point. Aggravated by the toothless policies of Congress party at the time, he left the party and offered strong armed resistance to the British forces, in which the active participation was witnessed from all the regions, religions and both the sexes, he said, thus becoming greatest hero of all the times. He said that Neta ji travelled across all countries gaining support for Indian freedom struggle. Encourage future generation to study life of great son of Nation, he asked all the leaders present.
Pawan Khajuria, threw light on the life history of Neta ji Subhash Chander Bose and said that he was a dedicated youth leader of the masses. He said that he was a distinguished personality of India who lived just for the cause of country his whole life. He also said that he. He cleared the highest Civil Services Examination at that time but he taught all fellow citizens the highest standards of love for the country ultimately founding “Azad Hind Fauz” for getting freedom in the true sense.
Bharat Bhushan Sharma conducted the proceedings of the stage and also threw light in the importance of the celebrating his birthday. He said that this is the least we could do to remember the great sacrifices of the men who lived and died for the country.
BJP State Vice-President Karan Singh, State Secretary Sanjay Baru, State Treasurer Chander Mohan Gupta, District President Baldev Billawaria also spoke on the occasion.
Prof. Varinder Gupta, Rachhpal Singh, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Tilak Raj Gupta, Chand ji Bhat, V. K. Sethi, Jeet Angral, Shailja Gupta, Monika Khosla, Adv. Hunar Gupta, Darshan Singh, Ravinder Singh Jamwal, Jagpal Singh and others were the prominent persons who paid floral tributes to the portrait of Neta ji.
