Nov 20: The Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board on Monday disclosed that
it has submitted a proposal in the Supreme Court for the out-of-court
settlement in the vexed Ayodhya case with saying that they are ready to
construct a Maszid-e-Aman in Lucknow in place of demolished Babri mosque. The Board proposed a grand Ram Temple at Ayodhya and
announced that there was no need of any new mosque in Ayodhya. Board chairman Waseem Rizvi announced the proposal, which was
submitted in the court on November 18. He disclosed the proposal at a press conference in the
presence of Akhara Parishad chairman Narendra Giri. He said the new mosque
would be constructed in the Hussainabad area of the state capital. UNI
