MLC Raina calls on Governor

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 20: Sh. Girdhari Lal Raina, MLC, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Sh. Raina informed the Governor about several important problems relating to the Kashmiri Pandits who were compelled to leave their hearth and homes and flee from the Valley in 1989-90. He called for urgent steps to induce urgent confidence measures to enable the return of community. In this context he demanded establishment of the Kashmiri Pandit Welfare Board.

Assuring support, the Governor advised Sh. Raina to vigorously continue his endeavours for the restoration of peace and normalcy and strengthening communal harmony between all communities.
