Bhubaneswar, Nov 20: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama today said both India and China
should help each other and keep good relationships.
Dalai Lama, who arrived here on Monday on a three-day visit
to Odisha, straight drove to Naveen Nivas to meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik
from the Biju Patnaik International Airport. Describing his meeting with Patnaik as a courtesy call, Dalai
Lama said Naveen Patnaik is a good Chief Minister and one of the longest
serving Chief Ministers in the country. The spiritual leader praised the Chief Minister and described
him as most popular leader and liked by all. The Dalai Lama said Odisha has a
long historical link with the Buddhism and a peace loving state. The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate will be conferred with the
10th “KISS Humanitarian Award” in a special function here tomorrow. The 82-year-old Buddhist monk will be the first Nobel
laureate to receive the KISS Humanitarian Award. The Commissionerate of Police have made elaborate security
arrangement for the visiting Tibetan spiritual leader who during his stay here,
would meet the Tibetans from Chandragiri Tibetan Settlement.
