Approves essential requirements for up gradation of health centers |
SAMBA, NOVEMBER 20:
Industries and Commerce Minister, Chander Parkash Ganga, today chaired a
meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) of hospitals under Block Ramgarh and
Purmandal.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rajinder Sambyal,
Block Medical Officer Ramgarh Dr. Lakhwinder Singh, Medical Officers of Primary
Health Centers GurahSalathia, Raya, Nandpur, Bari Khad and Emergency Hospital
Vijaypur, members of Rogi Kalyan Samiti beside senior officers of concerned
departments.
The meeting deliberated upon various issues related to construction,
repair and renovation of new wards, boundary walls, septic tanks,
infrastructure, 24X7 power supply, mortuary, patient care rooms, unauthorized
parking and beautification of the hospitals.
The Minister directed the concerned agencies to give priority to the
quality while executing improvement and renovation works and asked the hospital
management to fix priorities of repair, renovation and other construction works
in the hospitals.
Other issues like water supply, sanitation, post facto sanction of
servicing of ACs, purchase of furniture/ computers, purchase of life saving
drugs, laparoscopic instruments, surgical items, medicines etc were also
discussed in the meeting.
Taking a detailed view of the agenda, Minister approved the essential
requirements to improve the functioning of the health centers. He directed the
concerned officers to work in synergy to ensure proper utilization of available
resources in the interest of patient care.
Citing healthcare as the top priority of present government, Ganga said
that government is making determined efforts to provide better basic healthcare
facilities to the patients.
Stressing
on maintaining cleanliness in the hospital premises, Minister exhorted that a
clean and hygienic environment is pre-requisite for patient care.
Expressing satisfaction over the improvements and achievements made in
different units and sections of the hospitals, Minister stressed upon regular
follow up of the work done for further improving the basic medical care
available to the common masses. He emphasized that priority should be given to
the quality of services being provided to the people.
Earlier, the newly elected members of Birpur Industrial Association,
including President Deepak Dhawan, General Secretary Gagan Jain, Sr. Vice
President Ankur Jain, Cashier Sharad Malhotra, Jr. Vice President Jatin
Sachdeva called upon the Minister and apprised him of various issues related to
further streamlining of the Industry sector in the state.
