THDCIL pays Rs 20.55 cr as dividend to UP govt

Lucknow, Oct 7: THDC India Limited (THDCIL) paid a final dividend of Rs 20,55,16,910 to Uttar Pradesh government for the Financial Year 2016-17. The pay order of Rs 20,55,16,910 was handed over to Mr Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, Power of UP by Mr A K Porwal (AGM), Mr Mridul Dubey (Sr. Manager, Finance), THDCIL at Shakti Bhawan in Lucknow yesterday. THDC India Limited is a joint venture of Centre and UP government. The Equity is shared in the ratio of 75:25 between Centre and UP government. THDCIL is one of the premier hydro power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1513 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) and 50MW Wind Power Project at Patan Gujarat, 63 MW at Dwarka Gujarat to its credit and is bestowed with ‘Mini Ratna’ Category –I and Schedule ‘A’ Status.
