ADC Kathua inspects JNV, ITI

KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 11: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Basohli, Sanjay Gupta, today paid surprise visit at Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya(JNV) and reviewed the working of institution besides quality of education being imparted to students.

During the visit, ADC checked attendance record of the school staff and took feedback from the public and students about the services being provided at the school.

He directed the Principal to take proper care of student`s diet besides providing them medical aid during exigency. He further directed the Principal to arrange coaching classes for IIT and NEET examinations so that students can be guided properly.

While inspecting the school building, ADC directed the Principal to renovate the Multipurpose Hall, Boys and Girls hostels besides residential quarters of JNV on priority. He further laid stress on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in and around the campus building.

Later the ADC also conducted a surprise inspection of the ITI. During his visit, he took stern notice of unauthorized absence of officials from duty. Taking serious note of the dereliction of duty, the ADC called for the explanation from the absentees. He cautioned the officers that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard.

For proper upkeep of the complex he directed the superintendent to immediately launch a special ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’ for ensuring proper cleanliness and healthy environment in the institute.
