Six students taken ill due to dehydration in Jammu, hospitalised

Jammu, Aug 4 :  At least six students have taken ill due to dehydration in view of prevailing humid conditions in Akhnoor tehsil here. The students have been hospitalised, police said. "Nearly six students of Government High School Kathar in Akhnoor this morning fell unconscious," police said. They said that the students were rushed to the nearby hospital, adding, "doctors have said that dehydration is the reason behind and they are stable." Students were immediately put on medicine while one of them was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital. "The wards of the students have alleged that they fell ill after having drinking water from a tank in the school but we are investigating the matter," police said. UNI
