New Delhi, Aug 4 : The Supreme Court today issued notice to the National Investigating Agency (NIA) and Kerala Government on an alleged love jehad case. A Division Bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Jagdish Singh Khehar and also comprising Justice DY Chandrachud, issued notice to the NIA and Kerala Government after hearing a plea by a Kerala-based lady's alleged husband seeking her custody. The apex court has considered the issue to be a sensitive one and has sought answers from NIA and State Government. The girl may be made to appear before the court whenever the court deems it necessary. The Supreme Court fixed the matter for further hearing till 16th August. UNI
