New Delhi, Aug 4 : The Centre today held a review meeting on the status of developmental projects in the Left Wing Extremism-affected states. According to official sources here, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired the meeting attended also by senior officials from the Centre as well as the Left Wing Extremist-wing states. Mr Singh yesterday chaired a review meeting with the Directors-General (DGs) of Central Armed Police Forces. Ministers of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir and Kiren Rijiju were also present in the meeting. During the meeting, various issues related to the central armed police forces personnel and policies were discussed. The issues discussed included housing issues related to central armed police forces, recruitment and filling up of vacancies and shortage of doctors in the central police forces. They also discussed about raising a new Central Armed Police Force, an official source said. UNI
