Jammu, Jul 18 : A three-day conclave of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), being chaired by national chief Mohan Bhagwat commenced here today, with participation of top leadership from across the country. 
The Akhil Bhartiya Prant Pracharks and Seh Pracharks Samelan (conclave) will conclude on July 20, to be attended by the ‘Prant Pracharaks’ of the saffron brigade. 
‘’The conclave started with pledges and attended by over 200 RSS Pracharak here at Ved Mandir,’’ reliable sources here told . 
They said that on the first day of the Sammelan, threadbare discussions were held on prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir. 
‘’The most important discussion on the day one was ‘manthan’ to strengthen ‘Hindutva’ in the country and measures required to counter Wahhabism,’’ sources added. 
They further said that the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat also had a review from the Prant Pracharak about their respective states, adding, ‘’the strengthening of ‘Hindutva’ remained core issue today besides nationalist forces working on the forefront and behind the curtains.’’ 
Sources said that the Sammelan also discussed immediate measures needed to unite and make nationalist forces more strong irrespective of any religion, caste colour or creed. 
‘’Nationalist forces were asked to work in the development of the country and further strengthen it by countering rising Wahhabism,’’ sources added. 
Sources also said that the political, security and overall situation pre-alliance and post-alliance of BJP-PDP was also discussed, adding, ‘’all ifs and buts were taken into consideration of PDP-BJP coalition government in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.’’ 
The Sammelan in Jammu is being held for the first time in 92 year long history of RSS. 
Sources also said that the members participated in the conclave today also held deliberations on utilising services of Muslim Rashtriya Manch and their active participation and role at par with the RSS in making the country more strong. 
‘’By holding the national level meet RSS, on one hand wants to strengthen the nationalist forces in the State while on other hand it will convey a strong message to India’s detractors that J&K is, was and will be an integral part of India and no outside interference will be tolerated,’’ they maintained. 
Sources said that the participants also discussed prevailing scenario of China and Pakistan on borders along Jammu and Kashmir 
RSS chief Dr Bhagwat, senior leader Bhaiya Ji Joshi and four Seh Sarkarivahs reached here on July 14. 
According to sources, BJP national general secretary (org) Ram Lal, who is also a Sangh Pracharak, also reached here to join the Sammelan. UNI
