Pak violates ceasefire, soldier killed on LoC in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 18 : A soldier was killed when Pakistani troops violated ceasefire and targeted forward Indian posts on the Line of Control (LoC) in Naugam sector in the frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara. Defence Ministry spokesperson Colonel Rajesh Kalia told that Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing, targeting forward posts on the LoC in Naugam sector this evening. He said a soldier was injured in the firing. "The injured was immediately taken to a hospital where he succumbed,” he added. UNI
