One die, two injured in road mishap

Shimla, Jul 18 : A person died on the spot and two others sustained injuries when a jeep carrying them fell into a deep gorge at Nankhari under Rampur subdivision in the district, police sources said today. The victim, identified as Rakesh Kumar (29), belonged to Bainalah village of Nankhari, while two others identified as Jiwan Kumar and Anaik Chand, who were injured were referred to IGMC Shimla Hospital. The Incident took place at 1145 hrs last night when the ill-fated jeep were on way toward Nankhari from Rampur. The police party immediately rushed to the spot, rescued the survivors and registered a case. UNI
