Hyderabad, Jul 20 :  Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh today said there is a huge drug scam in Telangana, in which influential friends of ruling TRS party's heir are apparently involved. "Let’s see if they would be saved or prosecuted, Let’s see," the senior Congress leader tweeted. Telangana Minister K T Rama hit out at Mr Singh for this comments on Telangana Rashtra Samithi party. In response to the Congress leader's tweets, the Minister tweeted, "You (Digvijay) have completely lost it sir. Time to retire gracefully and do something worth your age. Glad that you have finally learnt to spell Telangana". So far, 13 people had been arrested by the Excise Enforcement Department in connection with the sensational drug racket busted in the city recently. Well-known Telugu film director Puri Jaganath appeared before the Special Investigation Team yesterday probing the sensational drug racket case. In all 12 film personalities, including actresses had been issued notices in connection with the case, and all of them will be quizzed by the SIT in the next ten days. The film personalities were issued notices as their names were found in the diary of Calvin, the kingpin of the racket. The drug racket also created a sensation as hundreds of students from reputed schools and colleges in the city were also found to be using high-end drugs. UNI
